The sensations of travel

I was sitting in the boarding room waiting for my flight –listening to music to keep me sane after a 9+ hour transit—when a Canadian guy with a slick comb over asked me where I was headed. Otherworldly

We have people that are very well adjusted, in the sense that their livelihoods are held together firmly by their attunement to the world around them. I guess—and I can only guess—that one can be easily enveloped in the sensation of what it means to have this seeming level of security, so much so that all child-like curiosity subsides. Labels and authority are possessed with more gravitas, and the enclosed ecosystem of one’s life experienced freely, as though there is nothing more to behold.
